The Peacemaking Palette is a community engaged process used to gain design input on the creation of spaces for restorative dialogue and peacemaking by replicating the process itself. Participants are asked to share a story about an image or object they bring to the circle using a talking piece. They are then asked to participate in imagining the experience of those who have harmed, and those who have been harmed, to create a diagram of these experiences. The Peacemaking Palette provides data for the design and exposes the community to a new cultural practice for peace.
